This was the only pool I could get him in without a melt down. Peyton on the other hand is like a fish, she could have swam all day and night. She was going down big water slides and everything by herself.
Cousin Mckinley likes to growl and scream because she gets so excited to see her cousin. He cries almost every time:( He better stop or he will start getting teased for letting girls make him cry! We took them for a walk in their baby joggers yesterday.
Casey and Ryder, yellow looks nice on them don't ya think?!
Dads teaching their boys all about football.
February 03, 2008
Super Bowl Sunday................what a day to spend hanging out and eating. We went to our friends Casey and Courtney's house. It was fun, the two little ones were really good and this guy loved to check out all of Ryder's toys and everything.

January 24, 2008
"Not Aunt Joan" gave me a break today and carried the little guy on our walk. Granny Poppy is babysitting Mckinley so they both came too. I think it might have been a little cold for the two but they are tough!
Sitting on Cousin Peyton's lap......we both are getting sooooooooooooo big!!

You are a redneck if....................
You are a redneck if you all have matching long johns! Our friend Sue gave us all matching underwear for Christmas, little cowboy loves his new hat from Uncle Tyler and Aunt Mel too!
Enjoying Winter
Yesterday Granny Poppy, Mel, Mckinley, me and baby went up in the hills for a walk. It was such a nice day. The sun was out and it made the snow so pretty:) The kids had fun, we saw some deer and that was about it.
I can not believe I have not updated the Blog since Christmas! That was like two weeks ago. We have just been busy getting throught the Holidays and buying some property. We bought a house and three acres up at the bottom of the foot hills. It is the house we have been renting for the last few years. Here is the little guy a few days ago in his horse suit.
Great Grandpa and Great Granny
This picture was a few days before Christmas. Melinda and I were making cookies and we had a special visit from the Great grandparents.
Cowboy Christmas
Thanks to Uncle Tyler and Aunt Mel, we got our first cowboy hat!
Blanket for Grandpa Don
Here is the blanket we had made for Grandpa Don of the two Grand babies, he loved it and can take it with him on the road to show them off:)
Cameron, me and Friend Jesse at Rees and Melissa"s house on Christmas night
Here is a stuffed pony to practice on that Grandma Sandi got. It is a little more safe for now.
Here is Cousin Peyton on Christmas Day at Grandpa Alan and Grandma Sandi's. She had a blast opening her gifts this year. She is a big 2and1/2!
Pony for Christmas
Daddy got liitle cowboy his first pony for Christmas. It came with a brand new kids saddle and everything. What a spoiled little buckaroo!
Christmas Eve at Grandpa Don"s and Granny Paula"s
The little guy had his first Christmas Eve and he loved ripping the paper and trying to eat it. He ended up getting a little cold over Christmas. Poor guy, like running all around was not enough:(
Christmas Cookies:)
Today Aunt Mel and I made sugar cookies and gingerbread men cookies. Of course the two munchkins were there to help also. They were good babies, they each took a long nap and played with toys. We have so many cookies now, we got them done so fast we forgot how many we actually did!
fat baby in a little coat
Wishing I could fit into my new cowboy p.j.'s! Thanks to Great Aunt Mimi and Cousin Maddie, I have some really cute rodeo p.j.'s that are flannel. Here is just the top, so I will have to grow into them but it will be sooooo worth the wait! I got a new book too that I am going to love:) Thanks girls!
new snow suit
Granny Paula"Poppy" came up for a walk at my house and it was snowing pretty hard. We used the new snow suit on the little guy so he would not get too wet. We went up hill and it was really hard packing him and walking in the snow.
turkeys
we had our group of wild turkey's right in our yard the other day. The hang around all the time but not that close.
Cookie Day
We went down to visit Granny Poppy at cookie day. Her and her friends get together and bake for Christmas each year. Looks like we are not liking the flash so much in this picture! Aunt Mel and Mckinley were down there too:)
Uncle Cameron
Ahhhh.........looking back
Just a reminder of how much easier you two were to take care of like this! Even though we both don't miss being pregnant either!
Cousin Heather getting baby time in.
First Wrestling Tournament
Last Saturday we went to watch little man's uncle Cameron wrestle. Cameron took first at 135 pnds, the same weight that his big brother Rees and brother in law took state at.....no pressure for the year. We have been telling him that he also needs to be a state champ at 135 to keep it going! We were teasing that the baby better get used to the wrestling because I do not think he has much of a choice if he will be on the mat or not:) He did really good, loved looking around and watching everyone, even took a bit of a nap in the middle of everything. My two cousins and Uncle came to watch also. My cousin Jenny brought her girl Bianca who is two. Jody, Jessi and Hannah were there to watch so Hannah and Bianca got to play and run around.
naked baby
Getting ready for bath time:) Little mister had his 4 month doc. appt. yesterday and he weighed 12 pnds. 13 oz. I think he was 24 1/2 inches long. He was about 25 % on his weight. The doc said he was really healthy and a happy baby. I told him most of the time he is happy, don't let him fool you!
Crazy Boys
On the way home, Melinda and I even had a car of young boys flash us a sign that said flash me. Have not seen one of those in a long time! So we flashed them with our camera flash and tried to take a picture of the sign. They did not know that they were messing with two moms I guess!
Shopping Trip
I went for my first overnight trip without the little one. It was really fun but really weird to be gone that long! I went with 7 other ladies and we had a blast. I am now done with my Christmas shopping except 2-3 things, it feel sooooooooo good to get that done! We went to Seattle (Bellvue) actually.
buckaroo boy
We went to visit Casey, Courtney and Ryder the other night. Ryder is almost two weeks now and sooooo cute. They are all doing good and we got to borrow Ryder's little cowboy hat and chinks! All we need is a pony now, I think these two boys will end up being a handful!
Full Moon
I forgot to put this cool picture of the full moon when we were driving up to the cabin this last Saturday.
Done hunting at last!
Here is Dad with his 2nd deer of the year. This one he was drawn for the late buck hunt around our house. He got that buck from Colorado that is on here and he also got a spike elk here. So..........I think we might make it through the winter this year and have plenty to eat! this buck was really neat and was either an 7x8 or 8x8 with all his little nubs and kickers.
How does "my" thumb taste??
Elf Boy
This is the outfit he wore on Friday for my family's Thanksgiving. He looks like a little elf!!
Miles and Amanda at cabin
Uncle Miles
Uncle Miles came home and his girlfriend Amanda. It was so good to see them and we ended up going to the cabin for a few hours and it was the little guy's first trip up there.

Trip to Christmas show
I met up with my Mom and Jessi for the annual trip to the Christmas show out of town. Joan came with me and we had a blast. Aunt Mel offered to babysit for me so I could go without the little one. That was super nice because I actually got to look around and relax. Thanks Auntie!! Here are some pics from her day with the two munchkins.
Camo
Here are the two cousins in camo being cute as ever! Them two and Aunt Mel and I spent half of Friday together taking pics, working and going for a walk. It was a good day.
Dad and camera back!
Dad finally got home from his hunting trip in Colorado. I now have my camera back also! He had fun and got a really nice buck, they drove over half way home and stayed at his brother Miles' house last night. I am pretty sure that dad missed the little guy more than me:( I do not blame him I guess:)
no camera
I have not had my camera for a few days and will not have it for a while................I will try to catch up as soon as possible with pictures
halloween
We went trick or treating last night at Granny and Grandpa's and Great Granny and Grandpa's. It was fun and I can't wait until next year with the little guy. After wearing the blonde wig, I am pretty sure I will never try to go blonde!
candy boy
We had an early Birthday party for dad last night. The little guy was wearing his halloween candy shirt that Grandma Sandi gave him. We had about 15 people over for the party and he loved all the attention! He was giving everyone the sad face when they were starting to leave.................trying to get them to stay.
hiking
Granny Poppy, Aunt Mel, Mckinley, Baby and I went for a hike this afternoon. We got back to our house just in time for when dad was getting home from work:)
Here is Uncle Jody "Uncle Fuzzy" withJessi and the little guy.
weekend
We went to our friend Lindsey's wedding this Saturday and it was such a nice wedding. On Sunday we had a little family get together with some relatives on my side of the family. Here is a picture of Cousin Peyton and I think it would be "second cousin" Bianca. The two girls had a great time and everyone enjoyed seing the baby. This picture is dark, hope you can see it a little bit.
Grandpa and new pickup
Grandpa Don let the little guy drive his new pickup, it is a nice one!
Birthday
The other night we went to Uncle Tyler's and Aunt Mel's for dinner. It was Uncle Tyler's 30th Birthday party.........................wow, getting up there Tyler:) hee hee! He was so proud of himself for holding both babies and they were not crying.
At this spring, Grandma, baby and I were hiking and a black bear crossed the trail right in front of us. I did not get to take a picture because he took off too fast but it was really neat!
Baby and I did lots of 4 wheeling and hiking over the weekend, he loved looking at all the bright leaves and pretty colors of fall. This is one morning we were out hunting and it was a beautiful picture of the draw behind the house with the trees. You can not see the colors of the trees very well in this picture..................I should have taken a different one:(
hunting
The three of us went to Grandpa Alan's and Grandma Sandi's ranch for the weekend to hunt. We saw two nice white tail deer and got close to get a shot and then coyotes came and chased the deer off. That happened twice in two different days. They ruined both the chances for a nice deer. Oh well, I guess there is always next year. Here is The little guy and his dad at one of the cabins on the ranch.
poopy
Looks like we had a bit of an accident!!
anniversary
The ninth was our 3 year anniversary already!! Granny Poppy came over to watch the little guy for us so we could go to dinner. It was really fun to get out and go to a nice place to eat:)
hike
Granny Poppy, Joan, baby and I went for a hike last weekend not too far from our house. The colors were sooooooo bright and pretty!!
It was a good thing that Tyler and Mel had their camper. We got to sleep in the camper because it was really cold and Dad had to sleep in the tent by himself:( It poured all of Sunday so we had to spend half the day in the camper with the two babies. They were snuggled up in ther sleeping bag together and were soooooooo cute! We had big plans of hikes and four wheeler rides for sunday but I guess next time. The boys managed to get 7 pickup loads of wood out for the winter so that was nice. The girls and babies went for a short walk, stood by the fire and made brownies in the camper.
camping
We took the little one on his first camping trip this weekend. We went with Uncle Tyler, Aunt Melinda, Cousin Mckinley, Brent and Hailey. Auntie is holding the little bundle by the fire.
4 wheelin"
We took the little guy for his first 4 wheeler ride last night. It was such a nice night and on our way home there was a full moon. I tried to get a picture but it did not turn out real good. We saw a group of deer but no bucks.
friends
We went back to Grandma Sandi's this weekend and made MORE salsa, went for a hike and just hung out. It was nice and relaxing. On Saturday my friend Lindsey was having a bridal shower so I got to go to that. The next day we met up with Lindsey and my friend Amy so they could see the baby. Here they are and he looks pretty comfy getting all that attention. The girls will probably be mad at me because it was in the morning and none of us had gotten ready yet. I told them this would not go on the blog! It was just too cute not to though.......................sorry:)

canning
We have been spending the last week or two getting some canning done. For two days we went to see Grandma Sandi and can salsa. Cousin Peyton helped and we got like 50 something jars of salsa done:) One day Granny Poppy helped us do peaches, that was really nice. Then just the two of us canned pears and nectarines. We will not starve over winter up here now!
bath time
We are starting to like bath time a little better now. You can tell he likes the feeling of the warm water but is still not real sure about it:)

Thanks to our friend Kara, he loves his little worm. It has all sorts of toys to look at and he is starting to try to talk to all his little friend that hang down to play.

wrestling
Looks like we will need some practice for the future wrestler, his cousin has got him on his back!
Evening Time
Dad likes to take the little man out on the porch swing in the evenings to get some fresh air. It calms him down before bed time. They went for a drive tonight after dinner also to look at deer. Mom stayed home and got some paperwork done and a little while to herself.
Lizzy
Here is Lizzy feeling sorry for herself from the lack of attention. I told her to be patient and she will be back to her normal life soon:)
pop belly
Look at this little guy's belly! He must be thinking about something pretty hard in his sleep. Him and his mom went out of town for a day and a night to visit his Grandma. We made raspberry jam and also visited Great Grandma.
