New pj's and gloves from Granny Poppy. This poor guy is feeling a little better tonight after being sick for one week now. He looks a little weak, but we see the light so hopefully we are on the mend. Thanks Granny:)

I have been tagged by Mel, in this tag you are supposed to write six random things about yourself.

1) I am ALSO a huge coffee consumer, I love it black, hot, cold, dark, rich, you name it and I will drink it! My favorite though is a Claussen from D&M.

2) I have always wanted and dreamed of a big family, lots of kids.......like 4 or 5. I know, easy for me to say now when I have only one! Hopefully I will not get to 2 or 3 and say forget it I am done, I don't have any hair left because I pulled it all out! I think about when you are older and all getting together with your kids and grand kids......what fun and what else do you need in life other than your family:)

3) I love and decorate for pretty much every Holiday. My husband wants to kill me when it is getting close to Christmas time, way too many decorations for him! I am a Christmas nut, I have always been that way, my Mom and I spent hours cooking and doing crafts for the seasons.

4) I am a total outdoor girl, I was raised with three brothers and we were always outside. I spent just under a month in the Alaskan bush with my Dad fishing when I was in High School. I mean really out there with no running bathrooms and slept in a wall tent. I loved it!

5) I have a sweet tooth the size of Texas. I would never turn down dessert or chocolate. I am constantly baking goodies.

6) Some day I would love to go see Greece, that is where my Mom's family is from.

The Flu

The three of us have been down with the flu so I have not taken any pics lately. The little guy is still pretty sick and it has been a week, hopefully we will get back on track soon!

Grandpa Alan liked the little man's gloves. He looked like ET with his big hands. It was really cold there this weekend, could not stay outside for too long.

First Haircut

This weekend was the big day of our first haircut. Went up to Grandpa Alan's and Grandma Sandi's for the weekend. Grandpa gave him the haircut, we bribed him with some pie to hold still! He did really good.

Barn

Here are some pictures of the barn we have building. Marcus, Don and Levi have done most of it themselves. They have had some work days with a few more guys to help also. They have done a really good job, can't wait to see the finished product.

Chaps

Ok, so this is a funny story............these chaps are a friend of my Dad's. He runs cattle a few hours away from where I used to live and once in a while I would go up in the fall and help them gather their cows out of the mountains. Well, he wore these chaps and I always told him how cool I thought they were. We were laughing about how if they only were SC chaps then I could have them (those were my maiden initials). We always laughed about if I married someone with the last name starting with M, then it would work out. Well, I did! Of course I tease my husband that is the only reason I married him:) Anyway, I have not seen this friend in a long time, but he gave these to my Dad the other day to give to me. I never said anything to our friend because I did not want him to feel like he really had to give them to me and I even thought he forgot but I guess not. I got them this weekend from my parents house. Can't believe he actually gave them to me!!

Eddie The Pony

Everyone took turns on Peyton's pony Eddie. They were out there forever, poor Eddie was tired.

Of course the girls "take care" of this little guy, they are little mother hens. They all like juice boxes though:)

Went to Grandpa and Grandma's this weekend, saw the girls and they all had a blast playing with each other.

This was a toy that Great Grandma gave him a while ago, kind of for older kids but I got it out last night and he loved it. You are supposed to throw the balls into it and see your score but HE just got into it!

I made chicken pot pies in a pumpkin last

night, they turned out pretty good other than one of the tops got messed up.

Just Relaxin'

Went to my friend Kara's on Sat. and stayed the night. We went out to a nice dinner and looks like we have a wino. He did really good, ate a ton and loved everything. Kara and I went for a long run with the jogger on Sat., we went around where she lives and it goes down to the water into a park. It was super pretty right now with all the colors. The next day we went for a hike kind of in the same area, it was really cool.

One tired candied cow, that trick-or-treating is hard work!

Last stop was the Arnold's house, they said we were their first trick-or-treater's ever. He actually got something healthy on this stop. He got some baby dried fruit bites but he scored M&M's too.

Then we went to Morris' and Joan's house, he had fun their. Tried to get into everything possible but got some Starbursts out of it:)

We then went to Great Grandp and Grandma's. We took a spill right into their coffee table. It was pretty bad but he recovered and ate a rolo!

I tried to get him to share, he thought about if but was pretty sure he wanted most of it.

Hmmmmmmmm, which one do I want? I was telling them that his belly was really going to look like that after all that candy.

First stop was Grandpa Don's and Granny Poppy's. Of course he got most of his candy from there:)
