Bull Sale

Thursday and Friday we went to Oregon for a bull sale. We stayed with our friends Vic and Heidi and their two kids. The kids had a blast:) Lexi is 4 and Layton is 19 months (only five days older than my little guy.)

The other day I took him to an open gym tumbling place with Mel and Mckinley. He loved it and watched all the bigger kids run around.

Thanks to Marcus this is what he wants to do all the time. The other day Marcus put him in the cart to push him around........................hmmmm, not such a great idea!

Feeding Cows

This was the other day going out to help Dad feed cows. Grandpa and Granny got a buddy seat for the tractor so he could ride along with a seat belt................pretty cute (and pretty spoiled)!

Look at those tired eyes! Poor little guy-too much for the weekend.

Rainforest Cafe

We went to a restaraunt in the mall called the Rainforest Cafe. He had fallen asleep in the car so was asleep for awhile in the restaraunt. He woke up to talking and moving gorillas and freaked out! He cried the entire time we were there. Every ten minutes the gorillas would come on, poor little guy!

He really liked staying in the Hotel. Loved the elevators and hallways to run down. Here he is eating some applesauce for a snack.

State Tournament

Not that you can see way down there, but this was Cameron's first match. That is the only attempt I made to try and get a picture..........too far away for my little camera!

Hanging out with my backpack on and eating my snacks. I think this was about the ONLY time at the whole 2 day tournament that this kid sat down so I could watch a match. We chased him around the Dome through millions of people. He loved it, he went around to everyone and wanted to show them his shoes for some odd reason. I think just about everyone there got to take a good look at his little brown shoes. I am not sure why he was so excited about them but thought the were something special!

Went to State Wrestling this weekend to watch Cameron. Did not turn out so well. He wrestled and did good on Friday, won his first match by a pin. His second match was the returning State Champ from last year and had not lost a match this year. Cameron lost to him, he was ahead 4 to 1 the first round then he got pinned in the second round. Needles to say that kid went on to be the State Champ again this year. Cameron then won his 3rd match by teching him(won by 15 points ahead). He went to weigh in on Sat. morning and someone stopped him to look at his neck. He had a couple little bumps on his neck and they told him he could not wrestle in case it was a staff infection. Cameron passed skin checks and Friday and wrestled but I guess not Sat. So the poor kid was heart broke and had to default the rest of his matches and take 8th place. He most likely would have been going for 3rd or 4th place since he had lost that one match. He had showed the coaches and doc. at home the week before they left for State and they told him it was nothing contagious or was not anything he needed antibiotics for. It was not right what happened to him, that is what wrestlers work years and years for is the two days at State.

Box Full Of Boys

Of course the boys found the tent in the pile of toys so we had to set that up. It was a hit!

Friends

Last night Jason, Kayla and the two boys came over for dinner and to play. All the boys had a blast! hope to do it again soon, really fun:)

Did not make it to Cameron's Regional Wrestling this last weekend so I do not have any pics. but watched his videos. He lost one match and took 3rd. The match he lost was total bad calls on the reff. He should have won but oh well, what can ya do? He is going to State next weekend either way so that is what matters:)

Birthday Party

On Saturday we went to Cousin Hannah's Birthday Party, She is turning 5 years old. It was a blast for the kids! Grandpa Alan gave this little boy the haircut he was needing. He even got a sucker out of the pinata.

Bad Hair Day?

This was Valentine's Day. We desperately need a hair cut! Our friend's Jason and Tessa had us over for dinner along with another couple, it was really good. I made a cherry pie to take and we just sat around and talked and had fun.

Of course I "made" Cameron take a picture with me and he was pretty embarrassed in front of his friends...............oh well!

Of course I had busy body with me and he was all over the place! I had some help so it was not too bad chasing him around, got to sit and watch for a few minutes anyway.

Districts Wrestling

Went to watch Uncle Cameron (my brother) at Districts wrestling this weekend. He did really good and took first place at 135 pounds. Off to Regionals now and hopefully State the next weekend. This is the finals match.

We have a mother hen on our hands. Mel took these pics the other day when she watched him for a little bit. Mckinley is really into checking is diapers lately..........it is pretty funny!!

This was at Mckinley's house the other night, he did not have any jammies when he took a bath there so he borrowed some of hers to ride home in and sleep. Can't believe I am even sharing this picture of his brown jammies with pink hearts.............he will be so embarrassed when he is older and we bribe him with this picture:)

Superbowl

Went over to our friend's house Casey and Courtney to watch Superbowl. The two boys had a blast playing together!

After the funeral we went out to my cousin's house where they barbecued us hamburgers and hung out in their shop. This is my Dad's cousin's family so we are all actually 2nd cousins. This picture from left to right is me, brother Jody, his wife Jessi, Darren, his wife (our cousin Nichole), brother Rees in back, (our cousin Brandee in front), Bart, our cousin Amy Jo, Cody, our cousin Natalie and baby Ashlynn, our cousin Kipp and girlfriend Brittini.
