Went to Grandpa Alan's and Grandma Sandi's for a few days. Me and a couple of girls threw a baby shower for our friend Kacey who is due May 15th. I do not have pictures from the shower but we also got to see Cousin Peyton, Uncle Rees and Aunt Melissa while we were there. Here are the two cousins enjoying their puffs.

So much for Spring!

This was on Friday, went for a hike and thought is was going to be nice. I should of known!

Today we played outside for a little bit. The dogs love when we go out, they know they will get some attention.

Easter

Hanging out with Grandpa Don on Easter. Went to church then to Great Grandpa and Great Granny's. He had a very busy day and was reallly wore out!

Easter Time

Mel and Mckinley came up today for lunch and to say hi to Miles and Amanda. Uncle Miles and Amanda got into town last night pretty late. The two kids love my easter eggs I have out.

Good thing "most" of the cows are used to him getting close!

Calving Season

We went down this afternoon to help Marcus tag and vaccinate new calves. Well we were not much help, we just watched and tried to stay warm. Little Mr. loves riding in the six wheeler and watching the dogs run around. He also loves listening and watching the cows. Poor dad is still at work and it is 10:00 pm, when I left to come home one of ours was trying to calve. He ended up having to pull it. I probably will not see much of him until May:(

This was today, playing in his new walker. We have been finding all sorts of new sounds and

words this last week. I think I am going to have quite the Chatty Charlie on my hands!

Grandma Sandi and cake

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm..........look at that frosting, we almost had little hands in it when Grandma Sandi was holding the cake.

He received some really neat baptism gifts from some of the family. A new teddy from Great Grandpa and Granny, a childrens picture Bible from Granny Poppy and a little book of God from the Arnold Family.

Auntie Mel made some yummy cookies for us, they were darling:) The bakery made us a really great cake too that said God Bless You with a cross in frosting.

Baptism

This Sunday we had a baptism for me and the little guy. It was at the First Presbyterian Church and it went really well. He was so good during the church service and the rest of the day when we had a little baptism lunch party. It was a great day!

I can't believe how big our little boy is getting, he looks so old. 7 months now, where does time go? Pretty soon it will be his 1st Birthday:(

At night before bedtime, we strip him down and he just loves it! Sooooooooooo funny:)

Here is Kacey getting her baby fix since she does not get to see us very often. She now lives in Oregon so we

miss hanging out all the time:( As you can see, little mister had been crying. Not sure if he getting teeth or does not feel good, but he has been pretty cranky the last week or two. He is also going through the stage of Mom can not get out of his sight........................I thought that came later!

Baby Shower

On Saturday I also had a baby shower to go to. My friend Danielle is due in 5 weeks and she is having a girl. It was a really nice shower and there were so many babies there too. My other friend Kacey (on the left) is also expecting. She is due May 15th. Danielle is on the right in the blue. Look at those bellies, they are so cute! It is weird for all of us to be having babies but so neat:)

Grandpa and Grandma's for the weekend

Went to Grandpa Alan and Grandma Sandi's for the weekend. Grandma, me and little guy went for a walk on Saturday for a few hours, it was soooooooooooo windy and pretty cold .

Granny Poppy's Birthday Party

On Monday night we had a party for Granny Poppy. The two little ones were glad to see each other and had fun (after mine was done throwing his fit for half the day!)

I made chicken chile and Mel made bread and cup cakes. The whole fam came over for presents and dessert.

This was today, it was sooooooooooo nice out and we could have stayed out all day!

weekend

Saturday and Sunday we went for a hike. On Sunday we were looking for horns but no such luck:( The dogs were happy they got to go. Did not do too much else just some sewing projects and church.

We almost forgot about the horse that great grandma Frances got us for my baby shower! He loves it. We just got back from a hike with Granny Poppy, it is pretty nice out but supposed to rain or snow later.

State Wrestling

We went to watch the little guy's Uncle this weekend for the State Wrestling. He did really good, ended up 8th in his weight. He pinned the number one ranked guy from the west side that was supposed to be the state champ. He had a REALLY tough bracket but he placed and worked hard:) We were really tired, taking a baby is not the funnest thing but we survived!

Weekend in Pendleton

This weekend we went to visit our friends in Pendleton. They have two little ones Lexi and Layton. Layton was born 6 days earlier than our bundle. They all had fun playing together and Lexi loved having two babies to take care of:) We just hung out, went into Pendleton and looked around. The two guys went drove around Saturday and looked at a ranch and did some hunting, the girls and kids went into Hamley's Saddle shop and did some shopping .........................and hit the new Hamley's coffee house of course.

Granny Poppy babysat today for a few hours so I could go in to the city pool and swim some laps. It was nice, did some errands too. Joan came over to Paula's and they took him for a walk in the babyjogger. He fell asleep on the way home to our house, must have played too hard with the ladies!
