Big Boy Bed

I took the crib out of his room about a week ago and he has been sleeping in his big bed. He loves it, all that room to flop around!

By Monday all our guests had left. That evening just the three of us went for a four wheeler ride up to the cabin and ate dinner.

This little guy was sad to see all of his friends leave, he is pretty bored now that we are back to just us!

We had so much good food all weekend long....my waistline says glad it is done!

they worked so hard that this little cowboy could not wait in line to eat. He had to sneak a few strawberries out of the bowl before everyone else got to them. His little cowboy had came from Grandma Sandi just for fun to play around with. This is the only hat he will wear so it looks pretty funny, he insisted on wearing it!

Branding Weekend

This last weekend was our branding weekend. There were over 20 riders this year, lots of help! Branded for 3 days, it was a ton of fun and really nice weather.

The cousins were the smallest two there............besides a few infants. They were wishing to be older like the bigger kids to keep up.

Holiday Weekend

Well, where do I even start with this long fun filled weekend?? I guess I will start on Thursday at the Washington Cattleman's annual field day. There were great friends and food, nice place to catch up with people you have not seen in way too long!

The little kids were trying to ride Peydon like a horse, it was pretty funny!

BBQ

Sunday night we went to Jason and Tessa's for a BBQ, tons of fun! Glad to see some friends there we have not seen in a while. The kids had fun playing in the big yard with the dogs:)

Nature Hike

My Mom came over on Saturday and we went for a four wheeler ride up in the hills. It was a great day, we took the little man and he got to get off and go for a little hike with us. We did not get too far because he of course had to stop and check everything out. He is picking a flower in this picture.

Granny Paula got a camp pad for Mother's Day from Tyler and Melinda. The kids thought it was pretty cool, they wanted to jump on it, lay on it, blow it up.............

Granny thought maybe when we go camping that they can sleep with her on the new pad, sounds great to me!!

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was pretty laid back. Went for a hike with Paula during the day and then we had a BBQ and our house that night. The two cousins got to play and also got new tie dye shirts from Great Granny and Grandpa that they found at the farmer's market. They are such cute shirts, thanks Granny and Grandpa!!! My Mother's Day present was a kennel that is coming for my chickens. They are stuck in their chicken coupe with no way to be outside, can't wait to get them out!

Marcus took him around for rides while he was waiting for his turn...............screamed every time I tried to take him off the horse. He wanted to ride with Dad all night:(

Wild Cow Milking

Last Saturday night the Cattleman's Ass. put on a Rodeo. Marcus and Randy entered for the wild cow milking. They ended up taking second, you only had a minute to rope the cow, milk it and get it back to the judge. It was almost dark so it is hard to see the pictures. Marcus caught the cow on his first loop, Randy got a hold of the cow by the rope and Marcus got off to milk. They hoped to take first but it was good entertainment either way! Here is their biggest fan, he was so independent had to sit by himself on the stairs to watch and clap....................pretty funny!

Four Wheeler

This boy could ride all day long on the four wheeler..........me too I guess so I don't blame him:) A few days ago we rode around because it was pretty nice out. We went down to a good spot in the creek below our house to throw rocks and sticks with the dogs.

Of course Marcus had to get one with the both of us:)
